Andy Barker
A practitioner you can trust

I was a tennis coach for 10 years before deciding to change careers.

I always had an interest in sports and the mechanics of the body, so choosing my next career was an easy one.

In 2000, I qualified with the European School of Osteopathy, the UK's leading osteopathic college, and have run my practice ever since.

I am registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) which regulates the practice of osteopathy in the UK by setting, maintaining and developing standards of osteopathic practice and conduct.

Practice what you teach

In 2003, I became a member of the faculty at the European School of Osteopathy and continue to teach at both its children's clinic and its general clinic.

In 2008, I became more involved in sports injuries, working for Crowborough Rugby Club. I was also responsible for the first aid at the Skinners School's rugby matches. In 2010, I passed the Rugby Football Union Pitch Side Immediate Trauma Care Course.

Life outside osteopathy

I have lived in the area for the last 40 years, currently in Tunbridge Wells and am the proud father of two boys. I am a keen golfer but enjoy most sports, hence my interest in sports injuries. I also enjoy music and photography.
